Research Focus

Martin Tomus has been a University Assistant (prae doc) for Univ.-Prof. Dr. Forgó at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law since September 2024 and is involved in a study on the effects of EU legal acts on digitalisation on Austrian universities (SERA). He studied law at the University of Vienna and the University of Nottingham, specialising in European Law, International Relations Law and International Legal Practice and Language. During his studies, he gained work experience in the public sector and in various law firms in three European capitals. Before joining the university, he completed his judicial clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Vienna and worked in the IP/IT team of a renowned law firm.
