Research Focus

Michael Schmidbauer completed his law studies with a focus on IT law in Vienna and also took courses from the ICT-law LLM during his ERASMUS-semester at the University of Oslo. He was able to further deepen his knowledge regarding IT law with the postgraduate LLM program Information and Media Law at the University of Vienna. Since September 2023, he has been a research associate at the Institute of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law and is dedicated to the topics of data protection and artificial intelligence with various projects.
