Research Focus

Lukas Faymann joined our team in May 2021 as a Research Associate. He studied law at the University of Vienna and at Santa Clara University (USA) where he specialized in technology law, IP law, data protection law and business law. Lukas was working at Viennese law firms focusing on Business Law and IP Law and interned at Advantage Austria in Abu Dhabi, the representative office of the Austrian Chamber for Commerce in the United Arab Emirates, during his studies. At the department, he works primarily on the projects BIOMAP, TheFSM and interopEHRate where he focuses on digitalization, data protection and privacy in the health and food sector.
