Magdalena Nemeth has been university assistant at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law since April 2022. She worked as a university assistant at the Institute of Public Law and Political Science of the University of Graz in Professor Eisenberger's team from April 2020 to February 2021, where she participated in projects such as the Horizon 2020 project ETAPAS and the research project REASON. From March 2018 to February 2020, she was first a tutor, then a student assistant and research associate in Professor Eisenberger's team at the Institute of Law at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna. Before that, she worked at the law firm of Mag. Schmutzer & Mag. Ott-Sander and in the legal department of Sands & Associates, a company specialising in bankruptcy and debt consolidation in Canada.

She studied law at the University of Vienna and is currently writing her dissertation on crisis communication and freedom of speech. In addition, her research focuses on technology and innovation law.
