Working Interdisciplinary: The Legal Perspective

11.01.2023

On 11 January 2023, Professor Iris Eisenberger is giving a talk on interdisciplinary aspects of legal research as part of the Responsible Robotics Project Week.

The Responsible Robotics Project Week forms part of the TUM Project Weeks, a new teaching initiative funded by the “Förderlinie Exzellenzuniversität (Exzellenzstrategie)” at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It takes place from January 10-13, 2023 in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The aim of the project week is to bring together participants from various disciplines (engineering, natural sciences, social sciences and law) to learn about interdisciplinary collaboration in an academic environment.

Professor Iris Eisenberger and her team are part of the Responsible Robotics project, on which the Project Week is based. The project “Responsible Robotics: Tracing Ethical and Social Aspects of AI-Based Transformations in Healthcare Work and Knowledge Environments” (RR-AI) takes an innovative “embedded” approach, whereby ethical, social, legal and political analyses constitute integral elements of an AI product design process as well as its workplace integration.
