KATY - Round-Table Discussion AI Act Implementation in the Health Sector Challenges and Opportunities

13.03.2025 15:00 - 17:00

AI is increasingly transforming the healthcare sector, offering innovative solutions for diagnosis, treatment, and research. However, the European Union's AI Act introduces new regulatory requirements that impact AI development and deployment in healthcare. This round table discussion aims to explore the challenges and opportunities presented by the AI Act, particularly in the context of ongoing projects and their outcomes within the sector.

The main objective of this workshop is to discuss the implications of the AI Act for AI-driven healthcare solutions. It will also serve as a platform to share insights from ongoing projects that address AI governance, data protection, and compliance in healthcare. The workshop will facilitate dialogue between experts, researchers, and policymakers on AI regulation and implementation. Additionally, it seeks to identify opportunities for collaboration and best practices in AI-driven healthcare innovation.
