Joint Lecture on IT law

Das Institut für Innovation und Digitalisierung im Recht der Universität Wien veranstaltet gemeinsam mit Kyoto University, Graduate School of Law, eine „Joint Lecture on IT law“, deren Gegenstand die Diskussion aktueller IT-rechtlicher Themen und die Vernetzung einschlägig tätiger Personen ist.

Die Joint Lecture wird am 29.6.2021, 10:00 bis 12:00 per Videokonferenz stattfinden und ist ein Invitation only Event mit Chatham-house rule. Wir haben für die Veranstaltung folgende Vorträge vorgesehen:

1) Governance Innovation: Japanese Style Agile Governance for AI era Hiroki Habuka, Deputy Director for Global Digital Governance, Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Tatsuhiko Inatani, Professor of Law, Kyoto University

2) EU`s proposal for an Artificial Intelligence Act: Overview and first assessment Nikolaus Forgó, Professor of Law, and Žiga Škorjanc, Researcher, both Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law, University of Vienna
