Christiane Wendehorst presents her draft for a new AI Data Protection Regulation

The second annual conference on "Data in Research – Assessment and Solution Options," organized by the Center for Medical Data Usability and Translation (ZMDT) at the University of Bonn, took place on 21 February 2025.

The center brings together the fields of law, medicine, and computer science, aiming to contribute various topics related to medical research, data protection, and data usability to the political discourse.


As an expert in artificial intelligence and data protection, Christiane Wendehorst gave a presentation in which she outlined the major challenges for the GDPR’s regulatory concept in light of AI developments. To address these challenges, she presented her discussion draft for an AI Data Protection Regulation.
