The AI regulation has been in force since last week. The so-called risk-based approach takes centre stage: the higher the risk, the stricter the rules. This is based on a ‘risk pyramid’ that Christiane Wendehorst helped to develop in her role as Co-Chair of the Data Ethics Commission. Start-ups are well advised to find out about the AI regulation at an early stage. RTR has set up a special AI service centre to answer questions about the regulation.
