InteropEHRate

InteropEHRate is a multiparty EU funded project, which aims at supporting patients to unlock health data from local silos and use them for better healthcare.

It is the goal of the project to standardize and harmonize the processing of electronic health records (EHRs) and deliver a comprehensive analysis of different aspects concerning HER interoperability. The focus is on developing and testing an extensible, secure and interoperable platform in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Network and Information Systems directive, guarantying a comfortable environment for users by translating health data to common fast healthcare interoperability resource (HL7 FHIR) profiles and into the user languages. Existing interoperability infrastructures will be exploited, including Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) building blocks such as eID. A specific governance model will manage human aspects related to ethics, laws, technology evolution. Further information on the project is available here and in ucris.
