Forum "Data Law" – Law and cyber security - Strengthening digital resilience together

Invitation to the panel discussion
In order to create a platform for the continuous exchange between science and practice, we have launched the “Data Law Forum” event series as part of the Department for Innovation and Digitalisation in Law at the University of Vienna. Our first meetings on October 12, 2023 and January 25, 2024 with the titles “Data Act vs. GDPR - are we creating an innovation-friendly environment?” and “AI regulation in the interests of society and business” marked the successful start of this series of events.
Our next, third meeting on December 2, 2024 is dedicated to the no less topical subject of cybersecurity law. In view of the growing requirements for security measures and reporting obligations for a large number of companies, close cooperation between all stakeholders is becoming increasingly important. As part of the Data Law Forum, we will discuss what is necessary for affected organizations, authorities and IT security actors to work together effectively in the event of an emergency. In a panel with experts from various sectors, we will shed light on practical solutions and key issues of crisis management from different perspectives. We cordially invite you to take part in this important discussion.
