Research Focus

Beatrice is a visiting researcher at the Department of Innovation and Digitisation in Law at the University of Vienna until August 2024. She is an Italian student in her fifth year of law at the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, writing her Master's thesis on the impact of Artificial Intelligence in media and copyright, particularly focusing on the journalism sector.
Beatrice's academic interests are not limited to her Master's thesis. She is deeply intrigued by the regulatory implications of using machine and deep learning technologies in the cultural industry.
In Italy, she attends a major in Law and Innovation; hence, she is also fascinated by the area of data protection law contextualised within new technologies such as AI.
