Medicine and healthcare are undergoing profound changes. Technological innovation combined with automation has triggered an explosion in data. There is large potential of “big data” for improving health. At the same time, a wide range of i.a. legal challenges in that context need to be overcome.
Against this background, the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission decided to organise an interdisciplinary workshop on 13 March 2018 in Brussels. Univ.-Prof. Nikolaus Forgó will join this top-level workshop as a speaker.
