The Austrian Research Association (Österreichische Forschungsgemeinschaft - ÖFG) organised the Austrian Science Day 2024 (Österreichischer Wissenschaftstag 2024) in Baden on 24 and 25 October. The focus of this year's event was on humans and their artificial intelligence. The Austrian Science Day 2024 addressed the positive and negative potentials of AI as well as the complex ethical and legal questions associated with its use. 

At the event, Iris Eisenberger gave a lecture on the topic of the legal framework for artificial intelligence in Europe entitled "Der rechtliche Rahmen der künstlichen Intelligenz in Europa - reicht das?".
