Christiane Wendehorst discussed topical issues of data protection and artificial intelligence together with Friedrich Ofenauer, Matthias Schmidl and Alexander Banfield-Mumb-Mühlhaim at the Data Protection Day 2024, which took place on the 28th of May and was organised by the Federal Ministry of Justice, the Data Protection Authority and the Data Protection Council.
The discussion centred on the GDPR as a potential obstacle to digital development, particularly in the area of AI, as well as the associated legal challenges. The discussion also centred on the future of AI and the protection of fundamental rights in this regard. The experts discussed their ideas for an ideal AI.
