COMMUTE, an EU-funded project, investigates potential links between COVID-19 and neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs) such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. It combines data-driven AI/ML approaches with knowledge-based research to uncover biological mechanisms connecting COVID-19 and brain health.
This panel explores the ethical and legal implications of AI’s growing role in medicine:
- How will clinical authority and the doctor–patient relationship evolve when AI systems interpret evidence?
- How will trust, expertise, and communication shift when both patients and professionals engage with AI-driven tools?
- Join us to discuss how AI is reshaping care, clinical authority, and the future of medical decision-making.
