The international conference dealt with automated contracting (UNCITRAL Model Law and ELI Model Rules on Digital Assistants), liability issues, consumer protection, AI Agents in the AI Act, and regulatory aspects of AI Agents as intermediaries in financial markets and the insurance sector.
As an expert with extensive experience from her collaboration with the ALI and ELI as well as her own research, Professor Wendehorst discussed contract law issues in connection with the use of AI agents in both B2B and consumer transactions. She presented her “Principles of AI in Contracting”, which have been published in various versions. One of these versions can be found here: Discussion Draft: Principles for AI in Contracting (Version 2.1) by Christiane Wendehorst :: SSRN
