Abstract

This version 1.1 of a Tentative Academic Discussion Draft (TADD 1.1) is the slightly revised version
of a previous draft, which had been prepared for a workshop held at the University of Vienna on 13-14 December 2024. Its purpose is to stimulate a discussion on a possible reform of EU data protection law. Compared to the previous draft, it takes into account feedback received at the workshop. However, it remains a work in progress, inviting critical comments and suggestions, and will be revised in the light of the feedback received.
