The meeting reunited all 37 SOLACE Partners (33 beneficiaries and 4 associated partners) for discussion of the progress achieved throughout the 30 months the Project has run so far, since the 1st of April 2023, with a focus on the developments over the past 5 months, since the last Steering Committee and Consortium Meeting, which a ID Law Team representative also attended (more information about UNIVIE’s involvement in this meeting is available here).
Since the Project will run its course on the 31st of March 2026, the Consortium Meeting was a good opportunity for Partners to identify any urgent points that require attention and negotiate the plan of action for the next few months, as well as post-Project sustainability. Focal points of discussion were the dissemination plan and status of publications, data gathering activities (through national and SOLACE pilot programmes lung screening operations) and data accessing procedures and data analysis outcomes.
UNIVIE has been a structural contributor to orienting the Project’s activities in line with data privacy and protection legislation (namely the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and leading the drafting of legal instruments such as the Data Sharing Agreement, Data Protection Impact Assessment, pursuant to Article 35(3) of the GDPR, as well as contributing to the Data Management Plan and drafting internal memorandums for GDPR-compliant data sharing.
