Abstract

We speak with Dr. Simon Gerdemann, acting chair of law at University of Göttingen. gerdemann wrote an article recently, identifying European dependencies in AI-regulation due to the delegation of standardisation power to private bodies, heavily dominated by US-companies. The situation has become worse with the proposed Digital Omnibus reform package.
