Whether you are using an app, entrusting a company with your data, or entering into a contract online – smart rules are required to strengthen trust, responsibility, and innovation in the digital economy. The teaching and research activities of Prof. Dr. Florian Möslein and his academic staff focus on the law of digitalization, as well as corporate and capital markets law, banking law, contract law, European law, legal theory, and comparative law.
In terms of content, the research primarily revolves around three key thematic areas: first, innovation and digitalization; second, social responsibility, particularly corporate responsibility; and third, the methodological questions of rulemaking as an instrument to solve the resulting problems through legal means.
All these issues have global relevance, which is why our research perspective is not limited to Austrian or German law, but is European and comparative in nature. Economic analysis of law is also an essential part of our toolkit.
