At the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna the position of a professor for innovation and private law is to be filled.

Against this background, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna the position of a

University Professor

of

Innovation and Private Law

(full time, permanent position) is to be filled.

Successful candidates provide excellent expertise on private law issues emerging from innovation and digitalisation with a focus on intellectual property law, demonstrated through excellent academic publications taking into account domestic, European and international developments. The professor shall be part of the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in law and shall contribute to the further development of said department. Foreign candidates are expected to acquire the necessary knowledge on Austrian law within a short period of time.
