Joint Lecture on IT law

The Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law at the University of Vienna, together with Kyoto University, Graduate School of Law, is organizing a "Joint Lecture on IT law". The goal of this event is to discuss current IT law topics and network with people working in this field.

The joint lecture will be held on the 29th of June 2021, from 10:00 - 12:00pm online. It is an invitation only event with Chatham-house rule. We will be listenting to the following presentations:

1) Governance Innovation: Japanese Style Agile Governance for AI era Hiroki Habuka, Deputy Director for Global Digital Governance, Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Tatsuhiko Inatani, Professor of Law, Kyoto University

2) EU`s proposal for an Artificial Intelligence Act: Overview and first assessment Nikolaus Forgó, Professor of Law, and Žiga Škorjanc, Researcher, both Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law, University of Vienna
