At the Institute for Civil Law/Institute for Innovation and Digitisation in Law of the University of Vienna, a position as Research Associate (post doc) is to be filled at the earliest possible date. The contract will be for an initial period of two years. The position is part of the ‘Principles for a Data Economy’ project, which is conducted as a joint endeavour of the American Law Institute (ALI) and the European Law Institute (ELI) and is funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.

All work is done in English.

The Research Associate will draft and publish academic work accompanying the Principles jointly and in co-authorship with the Principal Investigators or with the European Principal Investigator (Univ-Prof Dr Christiane Wendehorst, LLM). There will be opportunity for independent scientific work (eg a habilitation thesis), ideally in the thematic area of ​​the project.
