The annually European Congress of Radiology (ECR) is the largest radiological meeting in Europe, attracting more than 21,000 participants from over 100 countries and boasting an impressive scientific and educational programme that includes 1,500 oral scientific presentations and around 3,000 electronic poster presentations in EPOS™.
The ECR also acts as the annual meeting of its organising association, the European Society of Radiology (ESR). This organisation was founded in February 2005 by merging the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) and the European Association of Radiology (EAR), thus establishing a single house of radiology in Europe. The European Society of Radiology is an apolitical, non-profit organisation, dedicated to promoting and coordinating the scientific, philanthropic, intellectual and professional activities of Radiology in all European countries.
